Deliver meaningful experiences without starting from scratch.
Schools are being asked to provide more meaningful encounters with employers, but finding the time, content and employer connections to deliver them can be difficult. TILG brings together employer-led challenges, expert delivery and Lightbulb Online to give schools a practical, supported way to deliver meaningful equalex experiences.

The starting point
The challenge schools are being asked to solve
Creating meaningful, repeated employer experiences takes time, planning, content and strong employer connections. For busy careers teams, bringing all of that together across a school can be difficult.

Not enough time
Careers teams are already balancing delivery, planning and a busy school timetable.

Limited employer connections
Building and maintaining a network of employers takes time and resource.

Not enough ready-to-use content
Meaningful employer experiences need structure, activities and context, not just a presentation.

Limited internal capacity
Coordinating meaningful experiences across year groups can be difficult for a small careers team.
Two routes, or a combination of both
How TILG helps your school deliver equalex
Choose the approach that works for your school. We can deliver alongside you, support your own delivery through Lightbulb Online, or combine both.

Route One
Delivered in your school
The National Careers Challenge, in partnership with NatWest Thrive, brings real employer-led challenges into schools. Our team can deliver the experience to a class or full year group, making it structured, engaging and straightforward for schools to implement.
Delivery can also create opportunities for students to engage directly with TILG’s employer network, subject to employer availability. This could include employer volunteers, panel sessions, Q&As, presentations and meaningful feedback on students’ ideas.
Live delivery can be supported by complementary content on Lightbulb Online, including employer videos, industry insight and additional activities before and after the experience.

ROUTE TWO
Supported self-delivery through Lightbulb Online
For schools wanting to build employer-led experiences into their own careers programme, Lightbulb Online gives teams the content, structure and support to deliver confidently. You are not simply given a resource and expected to work everything out yourself.

- Employer videos and industry insight
- Clear equalex and Gatsby mapping
- Flexible activities that work around the school timetable
